Lucerne and Gruyere | Switzerland

I met these two beautiful friends back when we all lived in London. Now one of us is back in the states (who!) and one back in her home country of NZ, while one remains in London (winning!). The friendships I made in London were quite possibly the best part of the whole adventure. Truly the most interesting and wonderful people end up there. Lucky me to be with them again on this little reunion trip in Switzerland. We rode the Golden train from Geneva to Lucerne, and stopped at the Chillon Castle as well as the town of Gruyere. The chocolate and cheese overfloweth in those mountains. The hot lamp raclette in Gruyere was my favorite of the weekend.
